The ONLY ear candle in North America with a SAFETY FILTER TIP, because we care about you!
The ear candling process begins by choosing the right type of candle for your needs. From materials, scents and colors, to shape, thickness and design, each candle offers unique benefits. Wally’s recommends using ear candles that are as pure and natural as possible. Other supplies necessary for ear candling include a damp towel, scissors, a bowl of water, matches or a lighter, and a protective flame shield (an aluminum pie pan is commonly used). Wally’s includes a protective flame shield in each package.
To begin, the subject should drape the damp towel over their head and around the ear to be candled, leaving the ear exposed. The subject should be sitting in an upright position. Having someone to assist with the ear candling process is recommended. Insert the candle into a hole in the flame shield and then place the candle in the subject’s ear at a five to 10 degree angle. Light the end of the candle, allowing warm smoke to flow into the ear. After the candle burns down one to two inches, the ash should be cut, and this should be repeated approximately every two inches. Do not allow the candle to become shorter than four inches. When completed, remove the candle from the ear and extinguish in a bowl of water. More than one candle may be needed for each ear. A calming oil may be used to soothe the ear after candling is complete.
